Hi Everybody, I hope you’re all having a great summer!! Ruthie & the Gents have been rockin’ Capitola and havin’ a blast. Check out the pics from Paradise Beach, The Wharfhouse, and Zelda’s. And while you’re cruzin’ the pics of R&G, check out Ruthie’s day with The Sparkletones. These guys rock the 50s music just like "Sweet Nothin’s!" Next show for R&G is Moss Landing Inn where the walls and ceiling are covered with money and the house is jumpin’ with Classic Rock by Ruthie & the Gents. Hope to see ya soon!

Hey Everybody, I’ve updated the pictures, check it out. And send me a comment on the Guestbook page! St. Patty’s Day at Blinky’s in Santa Clara was awesome. The "Irish" came out in everyone and we had a ball. Then came Seabright Brewery in Santa Cruz. Seabright rocks, and it’s all about the kids. These youngsters blew my mind, they were singing along with me to all the songs. I said, "How does one so young as you know the words to these Classic Rock tunes????" They said, "Mamma told me!" Oh yeah!

Hey, are we there yet???? It’s all about classic rock and that’s what Ruthie & the Gents are doin’. After celebrating my birthday in January, I’ve decided my new theme song for this year has to be : I CAN’T DRIVE 55!!!!!!! I can’t believe Blinky’s didn’t have a Halloween party, what’s up with that!?!?! But as you’ll see from the pics, Ruthie & the Gents made it a party anyway!

The first day of Fall has come and gone and Ruthie & the Gents spent it rockin’ & rollin’. I’ve updated the pictures page so take a look at some of the "crazy" R&G summer adventures. THANKS to all who came to the King’s Head Pub last Sunday. It was a full day of acoustic music performed by some great bands to help a great cause, St Jude Children’s Hospital. I learned something very interesting....when you play rock and roll acoustically, it sounds much different! Some songs that you think would be great are NOT! And others totally RTH (Rock The House!). Summer 06 is here! Ruthie & the Gents are havin’ a blast!! The gig at the Wharf House in Capitola was great fun to be had by everyone!! If you missed it, you have another chance on Saturday, September 16. This weekend we’re at the Fogbank in Capitola, then back at Blinky’s in Santa Clara for my little sister’s B’Day party. Hope everyone is having a great summer and if you get a chance come out and rock with us soon!!

Our next show is this Saturday, April 29th at the Fogbank in Capitola. Next Saturday is the first Saturday of the month and you know what that means....R&G will be rockin’ the house at Murphy’s Law Pub in Sunnyvale. I can’t believe April is almost over! The weather is warming up and so is R&G. Check out the new pics, oh yeah baby, we’ve been having a great time. We’ve added some great new classic rock tunes to highlight Neil Panton’s rockin’ keys. Tom Buckman is awesome on bass guitar. Check out their bios on our Who’s Who page. Gary Roseen is back and making some surprise appearances. Larry Valdez is still rock solid on guitar and Rick Friend is keeping the beat solid for R&G. Check out our calendar for all our upcoming gigs.

Greetings and a belated Happy New Year! Ruthie & the Gents rocked in 2006 at Murphy’s Law Pub and boy what a party it was. It’s all about 200Sex! You’d understand if you’re were there ; )
I have some sad news and some exciting news....the sad news first, Gary Roseen has decided to take a break from the band for a while. With that said, I’m very excited to introduce my two newest Gents, Neil Panton on keyboards, and Tom Buckman on bass guitar. Oh yeah, we’ve got keys!!!! I hope you’ll find the time to come meet Neil and Tom and help us rock-n-roll the night away.
Our next show is this Saturday, February 25, at Blinky’s Can’t Say, 1031 Monroe in Santa Clara. And it’s Murphy’s Law Pub next Saturday, March 4. Oh yeah!!! After that it’s Santa Cruz, Soquel, and Capitola. Check our calendar for the details.

Having the past couple of weekends off was nice but I need a fix! Catch Ruthie & the Gents at Blinky’s Can’t Say in Santa Clara on Saturday, the 22nd. Oh yeah, we’re goin’ back!!
And speaking of a party, my personal favorite...HALLOWEEN! Ruthie & the Gents will be taking the party to Moss Landing Inn on Friday the 28th and the Paradise Beach Grill in Capitola on Saturday, the 29th. Come on out and join the party.

Greetings All! Murphy’s Law Pub was rockin’ on Saturday night. Thanks to all who came and helped make the evening a party.
We’re back at the FOGBANK in Capitola this Friday night, September 9.
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!!
This Wednesday, September 7, Murphy’s Law Pub is holding their their 3rd annual breast cancer fundraiser. There’s a BBQ, hourly raffles with some great prizes, and TJ the DJ will be spinning the dance tunes. The fun starts at 7pm. And on Thursday, September 15, The Quarter Note Bar & Grill will be hosting a Jam Night Benefit to raise money for Hurricane Katrina survivors. I hope you’ll find time to join me at both of these events!

Oh, and just to let you know, Moss Landing on July 22 and Fogbank on the 30th were out of control!

This Sunday, July 17 we’re at a new venue, The Hard Work Cafe. And, it’s an afternoon gig, 4pm - 8pm!! Come on out for some great rock & roll on Sunday afternoon! We appreciate your support.
This past weekend it was double duty at the Southside Cafe. Both nights were a total blast. Thanks to all the great people who hang out at the Southside. They really know how to make a band feel welcome.

Moss Landing was a blast....as always. Charlotte did a great job on bass guitar. She and Rick Friend on drums kept the rhythm rockin’ all night long.
This weekend we’re back at Murphy’s Law Pub for our "steady gig" which is the first Saturday of the month. Oh yeah!! Murphy’s is always fun so come on out and dance and play with Ruthie & the Gents.
